ON WHITE FEMINIST CALLS TO STOP SLUT SHAMING MELANIA

KIM VOEKS SAID,

And here we go. I am not a new school feminist. I am not a supporter of "I choose my choice " feminism. Some of your choices are seriously f*cked up and in no way advance the cause of other women.

I'm watching white feminists pile on to defend Melania's soft porn career. The same ones who didn't say anything when people attacked Michelle Obama for having bare arms. They actively work to avoid seeing the hypocrisy and double standards at play.

And, of course, they fail to see any racism at all.

I'm gonna go further than that. Old school feminism fought to avoid a society where the only thing a woman had to offer was her body. We fought to get into schools, jobs, professions where we weren't allowed for centuries. We fought to be looked at for more than our breasts and asses.

If you took nudes, you owned them. You took whatever judgement came at you. But you didn't aspire to be just that.

Confession. There are nudes of me somewhere in the vaults of Playboy. They were done when I was young and hadn't discovered my own value. It wasn't hard work. It didn't require talent. And the only thing I brought to it was features I didn't control in the first place. All I thought I had to offer was a really nice set of natural breasts and a cute face. I know better now.

If those pictures were to find their way out that vault, I could give a tinker's damn about your judgement. So as for slut shaming, hell, I been called everything except a child of God anyway. I realized I was more than that.  My value to society was more than existing for male gaze.

So now they want to defend Melania. Poor, pitiful Melania.

You're not normalizing that no talent hack as First Lady on my watch. I'm not ever defending her. I may not slut shame her, but I think part of  "I choose my choice " ought to be "And I own my fucking consequences."

Here's my feminist card.

And before you ask, I have no freaking idea where the pictures are. Call Playboy.

AND THE CROWD SAID,
AMEN!!!!
