According to Officer Ben Field defender's, Fields has been dating a black woman for quite some time.
Well I've got news for you. I've actually met black men and black women who were dating white racists, smiling all the while because they were considered "a credit to their race."
The above mentioned situation doesn't have to be Ben Field's situation. His girlfriend doesn't have to be this weak-minded at all. But race and racism still play a role because a white man knows he can only get away with beating a smaller female like that when her skin is black. He must have been shocked as h*ll when it didn't work out the way he thought if would. Besides, even white people are beginning to see that white supremacy is pumping through the heart of many police departments in this country. Therefore, a cop of any color is apt to be more violent when the citizen they are dealing with has dark skin.
I literally cannot picture this much violence being provoked by so little if it was a white girl. I literally cannot get a picture in my head -- NOT WITHOUT the ENTIRE COUNTRY going ape-sh** over her mishandling.
In this link (click here) a black woman talks about how a white neighbor asked her to help move a couch when she was 7 months pregnant. That neighbor probably never uttered the n-word in his life. Yet that moment was about race and racism too. So many people cannot see a black woman as a human being worthy of respect and care, much less as a woman....and not a mule.
WAKE UP!
