Three University Of Texas students Sri Lankan Yogarajah sisters, Mirusha and Yanusha and Pax Jones who is African-American are working to continue dismissing colorism wherever it may be continuing to rule. Jones photographed the sisters for a photo series focused on brown skin and as the three talked, the #unfairandlovely tag was born.

But the pushing extends past the black community as the need to celebrate and accept darker skin tones reigns prevalent just about everywhere.
